“This spot holds a special place in my heart, in Montenegro, where my wife and I married. We’ve returned here over the years to soak in the lake's peace, the mountains, and stillness. I took this photo during our last visit, on one of those quiet afternoons that feel endless. I only shared it briefly on Instagram before it slipped into the archives. While recently digging through old shots to print for our home, I found it again. It brought back such a calm, vivid memory that I knew — this one deserved a place on the wall.” — Pavel Marianov 🇬🇧

“Late 2023, I had the opportunity to travel to Mongolia for two weeks with a renowned photography tour service based in Indonesia called Mahacaraka. I took this picture during the last week of the trip. Mahacaraka prepared a group of eagle hunters for us to document crossing a river, but they could only do so a handful of times because the lake was cold! Without hesitation, I planted myself on the ground next to the river and shot close (very close!) to the hunters passing through me. As expected, I was drenched from the splash of river water by the horse stampede, but it was all worth it for this photo. Additional information: I use the Fujifilm GFX 50s ii, and just so you know, it's not a camera you normally bring for fast-paced subject movement (but I still got it!). ” — Fadhil Abhimantra 🇮🇩

“This photo was taken during a dive off the coast of Ambergris Caye, Belize. I was about 70 feet deep when I saw this lone diver ahead, suspended in the blue with nothing but darkness beyond. I was shooting on a Canon R5 in an Ikelite underwater housing with a wide-angle lens, no strobes—just natural light, which fades fast at that depth. The absence of ambient noise, the slow movements, and the diver's isolation all contributed to an eerie calm. It felt cinematic—almost surreal. I wanted to capture that moment where beauty, peace, and a touch of the unknown all exist together in one frame." — Tom Nagel 🇺🇸

“The concept of convenience and a comfortable environment for ourselves. Have you ever thought that, thanks to the convenient selection based on the analysis of our current interests, a bubble is built around us through which new ideas cannot pass? Moreover, it creates a certain illusion, shielding us from other sides of life or different points of view.” — Galina Nelyubova 🇳🇿

“Looking down on a secluded beach from a mountain in the Vesterålen archipelago, northern Norway. Taken in July 2021. The hike up was terrifyingly steep in places, but the view was insane from all directions. As we reached the summit and the clouds came in from the ocean, I flew my drone up and saw the secret getaway down on the other side of the mountain. Fun fact: in wintertime, this beach is washed away by the sea, only to return with fine-grained sand in the summer season.” — Gjermund Gustavsen 🇳🇴

“This shot was taken at Kvernufoss in Iceland. It's a place that never stops amazing me. Iceland has so many epic waterfalls that it almost feels impossible to take a bad photo. Everywhere you look is like a postcard. This spot stood out to me because you can walk completely behind the falls, which makes for some unreal views. I originally wanted to visit to fly my FPV drone here, and it ended up being one of my favorite flights ever. For the photo, I wanted to capture the full scope of the scene, so I stitched together multiple shots to bring out that wide, immersive feel—almost like you’re standing right there.” — Karsten Winegeart 🇺🇸

“This shot is from a project capturing a Scottish hill runner as he tackled the ridge on Ben Mor Coigach in the Highlands. Fell running has deep roots in Scotland, with the first recorded race dating back to 1065, and it’s only grown in popularity. We set off just after 5 a.m., racing across knife-edge ridges and summiting three steep peaks. It’s an incredible way to experience these landscapes—just like the messengers of the past who relied on running to navigate the rugged and otherwise impassable Highlands.” — Joshua Earle 🇬🇧

“I was one week in Puglia, IT for workation and wanted to get as much sun as possible while walking through the narrow streets of its cities. The magic of Italy, for me, lies here: you can spend hours and hours in a small yet picturesque city. The light was on my site, and I came back with hundreds of those fascinating pictures of simple doors, entrances or alleys and, last but not least, sun on my mind. 🤗 Italy in the low season is a different world from the touristy high summer.” — Max Böhme 🇩🇪

"I can't quite put into words the beauty of La Palma, Canary Islands. From its black sand beaches to this view from the island's summit, it's a place that truly takes your breath away. A 90-minute drive through the clouds brought me here to witness this sunset over the mountains. It's a moment I won't soon forget.” — Luke Thornton 🇬🇧

"In this illustration, I wanted to represent a human crowd in dark blue surrounding a single person in pink, creating a strong and striking contrast. This illustration uses the contrast of colors to question the place of the individual in the collective, highlighting both singularity, the courage to stand out and the possible isolation that difference engenders. The image questions our place in the mass, between the desire to belong and the need for personal expression. It can be seen as a metaphor for uniqueness, the gaze of others, or even a quest for an assumed identity. More than a simple visual contrast, it invites reflection on the importance of remaining oneself and visible, even within a homogeneous group." —  Chloé T 🇫🇷

“Sometimes the film breaks and although the light gets inside the camera, the results are still surprising. Recovering some shots from our city break to Palermo made me really happy.” — Bianca Maria 🇷🇴

“The illustration was inspired by my concerns about the high screen time that friends and I experience on social media. I feel smartphones can be quite binding, almost like they're holding us captive. To create the piece, I started with a brief that captured my feelings, then translated that into a sketch. I finalized the work by creating a vector version using Adobe Illustrator.” — Rizki Kurniawan 🇮🇩

“This photo was created while I was exploring the metro stations in Prague, searching for inspiration. I have always been deeply drawn to them. At that moment, I happened to be listening to Die with a Smile, and the colors in the image were inspired by the two artists in that song. Combined with my love for aviation, this all came together to create this photograph.” — Khánh Hồ  🇨🇿
