The footbridge leading to the Central Government Offices of the HKSAR in Tamar, Admiralty. Designed by Rocco Yim, the arch or door shape denotes openness of the H.K. government to the people. Tamar is a historical touristic place as it used to be the British naval base which was named after the Tamar cruiser was sunk by the Japanese invaders during the Second World War. Now the British naval base is replaced by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Forces Headquarter Building, the new Central Government Offices and Legislative Council Building Complex.
