The Barrack Block of the Former Central Police Station, nicknamed 'Tai Kwun' which stands for 'a big station, on Hollywood Road, Central District. This was built in 1864, not long after the British occupation of H.K and H.K. became a British colony under the Treaty of Nanking.It used to be the biggest police station in Hong Kong.Adjacent to Victoria Prison Compound and Former Central Magistracy, the whole compound had undergone restoration and a revitalisation project. It's a historic and touristic site. Tourists from Mainland China came after Covid 19 pandemic has eased.
