Central Government Offices in Tamar, Admiralty. Designed by the renowned architect Mr. Rocco Yim, the arch shape denotes openness of the Hong Kong government to the people. The office building also leads to Tamar Park. Tamar is a historical touristic place as it used to be the British naval base which was named after the Tamar cruiser was sunk by the Japanese invaders during the Second World War. Now the British naval base is replaced by the Central Government Offices. This arch was lit in colors in the summer of 2022 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Hong Kong SAR establishment.
