It was a typical cold and quiet Dutch night. It was about 00:30. The trees and clouds were beautifully in contrast to the stars. I’ve always wanted to pull off a proper astro-photo in my own backyard. I live in the Netherlands so it’s really hard to find places which aren’t entirely light polluted. The originial photo was absolutely blown out in terms of brightness, because this photo was shot with the Sigma 16mm F1.4, with an 8 second shutter speed. The .RAW file still had so much information in, so it was able to pull out this shot! Enjoy!
