My wife and I led a service trip to Kenya. Part of the trip was exploring the plains of the Masai Mara in the southwest part of the country. There were zebras everywhere and we saw lions, elephants, a giraffe, a rhino, water buffalo, hippos and lots of wildebeests. But there was this moment in the caravan where the horizon seems to open up and I was level by the big wide opens space. We were just specks passing through.
