The square at Hong Kong Palace Museum.It was opened in 2022 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of HKSAR.It resembles features of the Beijing Palace Museum in China, e.g. red doors and golden-yellow rooftop. It's designed by the renowned Hong Kong architect Mr. Rocco Yim. He has also designed the new Central Government Offices at the former Tamar Naval Base. His designs have very distinctive, symbolic and iconic appearances. The shape of the Palace Museum resembles "fangding"(方鼎), a square-shaped Bronze Age cooking cauldron. The aluminium facade glitters in golden yellow under strong sunlight.
