It was one of the hottest days I have experienced while visiting Rome. Everyone was rushing to get somewhere that had some fresh, cool air. I looked up at this statue while crossing the bridge in front of Castel Sant’Angelo and loved how the light danced on the stone. Everyone was in a hurry while this angel was basking in the heat rays.
